The Wedge: An eco friendly recreational trailer park by Wheelhaus

Tiny houses are personifications of sustainable architecture with simple living. These modern prefabs are the need of the modern world as space management has become a necessaity. Keeping this in mind, Wyoming based Wheelhaus has built ‘The Wedge’, a next generation recreational trailer park by using quality and sustainable materials. These green prefabs are so luxurious that several of these are being rented at the Fireside Resort in Jackson Hole as ski cabins.

Talking about luxury, each of these cabins have a living room, open kitchen, bathroom, deck and a bedroom with enough space for a king sized bed. Going green, Centennial Snowfence, a reclaimed snow fencing is used for finishing the exteriors. The living room has a flatscreen and a high efficiency gas burning fireplace whereas all the necessities are also availed in kitchen like under counter fridge, two burner cook top, dishwasher, microwave, mountain modern cabinets, concrete countertops and a sink. The bathroom is equipped with shower doors, concrete countertops, quartzite floors and a Kohler toilet.

In total, the Wedge uses less than 400 square feet, but with windows and 17 foot ceilings the cabin still seems lot bigger. The bottom line is that with The Wedge, Wheelhaus has reinvented RPT’s in a great way by providing contemporary mountain style luxuries in a small but open space.
