Automatic faucets are nothing new to us, and many consider them to be the most effective means to control water wastage. But, unfortunately, they are unable to control the magnitude of water that is required for different uses i.e. no matter what your purpose is, the flow of water remains consistent and cannot be customized to use. To bring this under control, an intuitive system has been developed. Called PURE facet, it is a wall mounted faucet that is touch sensitive and accurately controls the amount of water requested reducing unwanted overflow.
Mimicking nature’s basic design, the PURE faucet is given a long and sleek profile, with a complementing sloping spout. The design elements of the faucet give it an intuitive element that constantly reminds us how important water and its preservation is.
The wall mounted faucet as we earlier told is touch sensitive; after activation, a delicate movement ensures that it is automatically put back to position, stopping the flow of water. Made from aluminum, it is lightweight as well as resistant to deformation. The aluminum used is coated with hydrophobic porecelain and therefore rendering it more hygienic and clean.
Initailly developed for the emerged countries, its application can benefit both worlds; the developed and the underdeveloped. Water as a scarce resource and our rather ephemeral habits of squandering water; both are unrealized realities; therefore we needed a system that would constantly remind us of how important water is to our existence.
