Solar Spaceship modeled lamp professes a future filled with asteroid mining

Watch out Richard Branson, you now have competition when it comes to mining asteroids in space. That is right; someone has decided to take up the same wacky idea of the millionaire, who wishes to build hotels in space, mine through the layers of earth’s crust and travel within and explore world’s oceans in the wackiest possible ways. Of course, this guy is no millionaire like Branson is, and so he has to look elsewhere for funding. He has decided to sell what he calls ‘Replicas’ of his ship for this purpose.

Asteroid Miner Spaceship ZXCVB 109q Floor Lamp

The Asteroid Miner Spaceship ZXCVB 109q Floor Lamp that you see in the image above is nothing but a lamp that is supposedly a replica of the ship that this guy intends to build in order to reach asteroids and start mining them for precious metals and other are earth elements. So, why are we interested? Well, the guy might be a bit wacky with his idea, but he wants to use solar energy propelled giant fan to ensure his space ship moves forward after the initial blast off.

How does he plan on incorporating all this into the eventual rocket design along with landing procedure, mining process in non existent gravity conditions that are highly unstable and then returning back safely to earth? For now those things are being still worked out. He is looking for ‘rich’ investors, who will buy these lamps and will help kick start his project of building ‘asteroid-mining solar space ship’. So, what is the price of the lamp you ask? It’s About $167.

Now more than the model, NASA would like to know how this guy can plan to build a rocket on a funding that starts with $167.
