Floating Garden: Hanging around your home with green goodness

You must have heard of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, they have charmed the world with their design for centuries and spurred the imagination of many more. We are not really sure if Hungarian designer Gabriella Asztalos was inspired by them or just the plain old hanging pot with a shrub that we have in our homes. But either way, the final result is something to be raving about.

FLOATING GARDEN by Gabriella ASZTALOS

Dubbed as the ‘Floating Garden’, these stylish indoor plant holders hang from the roof using a wire that pretty much merges into the backdrop. This gives you the illusion that they are actually floating in the air. Of course, if your guests are old or tend to have problem with their vision, then it helps a great deal more in pulling off the ‘floating’ illusion. Contemporary design of the units enables them to be part of any modern living space. With ergonomic form and sleek design, they allow you to invite some green and a bit of fresh air into your home with glee.

We are not really sure about the price and availability as of yet, but those details should be out as soon as Floating Garden is available for sale. While they may not be a wonder of the modern world, these little pods could do wonders to your health and the aesthetics of your interiors by adding a bit of life to your living space. So when are you planning to green up your interiors?
