‘Green’ initiative by TCS
The eco friendly software development campus of TCS will be located in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. The chief minister of the state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation for this project on Saturday. He laid the foundation stone for phase I of this TCS campus. The managing director and chief executive officer of Tata Consultancy Services, N Chandrasekaran explained the broad outline of this forthcoming campus. He said that this campus will have all the modern day and advanced facilities plus it will have a training centre along with other IT solutions.
This information was revealed by him on the foundation stone laying ceremony held in Indore on Saturday. The officials also gave away some other information about this upcoming TCS campus and they told that this campus will be built on the land which has been given by the Madhya Pradesh government in its exclusive economic zone. The managing director of TCS also added that this campus will have cent percent eco friendly features such as energy efficient systems, zero discharge and rain water harvesting systems. The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh ensured that the government will provide TCS with any and every help they need in construction and development of this eco friendly software development campus.
