Students who purchases the salads from the blue room and the Josiah’s room uses very eco-friendly containers, and this is introduced by the brown dining this year. Their new containers are made up of wheat-straw material. Besides, these containers look so shallow and longer when compared to the old containers that are made up of plastic. Many people are also offering these new containers with plastic tops too. Aaron Fitzsenry, the retail dining manager said that, he had found these eco-friendly containers while brainstorming for the new menu-items for his blue room. He also said that, these containers would be the best alternatives to the plastic containers.

The great world centric company is producing these containers, and this company is the best example for the economic fairness and sustainability in the generation of eco-friendly containers. It might be quite surprising but its packaging is made up of compostable material. The process of composting helps the people in utilizing the food waste by putting it back into the soil, which would produce the natural fertilizer. The dining services only uses the eco-friendly products in its hall, besides in recent days it also started using eco-friendly bottles in spite of using the plastic bottles on campus.
Fitsenry said that the dining service is striving hard to promote the usage of eco-friendly alternatives. It might sound so simple but making the people to use the eco-friendly alternatives is really difficult, and the dining services had achieved it easily. This great personality also mentioned that the dining services had brought great change in the attitude of the people on campus. People might think that these containers might hold very less food, but in fact it holds the same food just like the plastic containers.
