The birth of WU brews

What is WU brew you might ask? It is an eco friendly brand of coffee introduced by John and Stephen and it is meant exclusively for the college. They have given name to their project and that is, Cultivation to Cup. Golden Valley and it is a certified organic, bird friendly and fair trade enterprise. A part of the revenue that is earned is given to Widenerโ€™s environmental science department that organizes trips of students to Costa Rica where they witness the growing of these coffee beans in person.

When John and Stephen shared their views on WU brew recently then they both insisted on the fact that this is more than just a business enterprise that took shape in the month of April. Selling coffee is not their main aim at WU brew but to preserve natural habitats is. It is indeed a wonderful initiative taken by an academic and a business person which you know by the name of WU brew. The coffee beans for WU brew are obtained from Las Lajas which happens to be an organic family farm located on the volcanic.

You will be surprised to know that less than one percent of the total coffee produced in the world is organic.
