BRC Briefcase: A wooden suitcase that showcases your dual lifestyle

Having trouble finding the perfect case that will manage both your personal and playful needs along with your more serious and professional necessities? Well, we would like to suggest you take a look at the BRC Briefcase, which might offer the solution and allow you to strike the right balance. Crafted mostly from Walnut and with one of the sides designed using Polypropylene, the briefcase is the idea of Scot Bailey of balancing playful fun with serious work.

BRC Briefcase

The walnut side of the briefcase holds the rack for all your serious work needs such as slots for tools used in drafting and making technical drawings. The bright pink Polypropylene contains watercolors and painting equipment slots. So unless you are an architect who loves to paint in the lunch break or something of that sort, we really do not see much value in this idea for most of us. The idea of making a wooden briefcase is indeed very ‘sustainable’ at its core, but it does not really work at a practical level. The intent of using bio-degradable substance for a briefcase is fine, but the execution is a bit iffy, to say the least.

And if you are a guy, then we honestly suggest that you get no way near that pink or the jokes and the ribbing will not end until someone else walks in with a giant ‘man purse’ or till you find a new office. Maybe this makes great little accessory for kids, if you just tweak the wooden section to say ‘toys holding zone’ or something akin to that. Surely not one of Scot Bailey’s better works…
