The idea of Mareโ€™ka Enright behind opening this bar was to offer the customers a healthier way to drink. She opened the bar with a tagline, โ€œThe Organic Watering Hole.โ€ The bar serves many a drinks and cocktails with ingredients such as fresh blackberries, Kmbucha trees and more. Although the waiting time for a drink is close to 45 minute, Enright says, people do not mind waiting a little longer for a healthier drink. Even the cups used for serving are fully compostable.

In order to make his green moves bigger, he leased 265 acre of land for organic farming, which provides organic beef and eggs for the food service in his bar. The uneaten food at the bar is used as compost for the farm. The company provides free bicycles to the employees who have completed 1,000 of work. Steve Basile, the owner of bar first realized the need to go green. The first move that he took was to replace the beverage napkins to green ones despite the fact that these were costing him more.
