Though it is a natural instinct for lions living in the wild to chase prey for their survival, thins are not the same for ones who are served with their day’s diet in a plate, living in captivity!

But, the Blair Drummond Safari Park located near Stirling in Scotland has taken an interesting and innovative effort to train their captive lions to hunt – by a remote-controlled robot, named ‘LionDrover’. Thus, a real innocent animal does not have to fall victim to a lion’s mastering the art of hunting.

Decorated with zebra stripes, the robotic vehicle is designed to move on all terrains. Hats off to the Strathclyde University students not just for developing it, but also saving the lives of some innocent animals from getting hunted brutally in the training process!

The zebra-like vehicle that can move at a top speed of 30 MPH is actually an upgraded design of a previous model — Lionrover.
