Eco Factor: Concept vehicle powered by zero-emission electric motors.
Analysts believe that out of the total number of cars running on the roads about 95 percent carry a single passenger. Driving alone in a four-seat vehicle is an unnecessary wastage of fuel. Auto designer Philipp Siebourg offers a simple solution to contemporary problems associated with automobiles where drivers get paid for the weight of their cars as well as the materials of their cars.
The designer has come up with a conceptual vehicle explaining his idea. Dubbed Weightmileage SUIT, the 3m long vehicle is equipped with electric motor wheels and is made from lightweight materials. To reduce carbon footprint on the road, the vehicle is tailed to the driver’s needs and they will be responsible for their daily driving habits including the loaded weight of their car.
The drivers will be connected to a web-based user profile that helps them optimize their energy consumption and will be financially rewarded for their positive behavior.
