Eco factor: Eco-friendly car powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
The AAVA comes as Mika Heykinen’s interesting and sustainable contribution to the Winter Olympics in Helsinki. During the games, such hydrogen fuel cell powered cars will bring guests to the venue and open many avenues for car industry in Finland. This thesis project of the Royal College of Art will be made using locally sourced 100% green materials like glass, wool, recycled plastic, birch veneer and ceramics.
Measuring 3196 mm long, 1848 mm wide and 1514 mm high, the AAVA is inspired from Mika’s own sculpture Birch (Betula), which was created to represent the Finnish nature. The eco-friendly car will be manufacture in Finland itself and help in reducing CO2 emissions. The stylish car has spacious interiors, offering you a comfortable ride.
The glass roof and broad windows not only bring in natural light, but also lets you enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered roads. The AVVA offers two layouts for passengers convenience, first is a diamond layout that gives maximum space for each passenger and the second one is the classical layout that allows one to accommodate luggage in the rear portion of the vehicle.
