Eco Factor: Tesla to develop electric car prototypes for Toyota.
EV manufacturer Tesla Motors has announced that the company will deliver two prototype electric cars to Toyota Motors by the end of the month. The vehicles will be based on Tesla’s electric motors and battery packs, which will be mounted on the bodies of Toyota vehicles.
Toyota, which already leads the market in gas-electric hybrids, is also looking for other partners to develop several alternative fuel technologies, which can be used in the company’s upcoming offerings.
