Eco Factor: Zero-emission vehicle powered by electric motors.
T3 Motion has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the GT3, which is the first from the company aimed at the wider consumer market. The new GT3 is a three-wheeled vehicle with space for two passengers. The plug-in commuter vehicle is powered by a 18KWh lithium-polymer battery and an AC induction motor.

The GT3 can hit a top speed of 70mph and has a driving range of about 100 miles per charge. In addition to its aerodynamic shape, the vehicle features two front wheels and one rear wheel. However, the rear wheel here is built around a single, wide-stance wheel with two tires sharing the same wheel. This configuration betters traction, stability and handling, while the low rolling resistance improves energy efficiency.

Also included in the GT3 is an integrated “black box” video and data recording system that provides continuous recording of vehicle location, G-Force and speed. The company has started taking pre-orders for the GT3, which has been priced between $35,000 and $42,000.
