Designed for the Portogruaro Council and Portogruaro Campus, the building that is partially submerged into the side of a hill features five fir laminated arches that stretch the entire curve of the building, anchored into the ground on both sides. It houses many offices, auditorium/conference hall with the capacity for 150 people. A series of solar panel louvers on the arches not only generate clean energy, but also provide shade. The sides of the building that are not covered with the earth are clad in black Gres tiles that provide the building both protection and natural cooling.
