Presented in Vienna at the Forschungs forum chaired by the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, the Hyperbike (Hybrid Pedal assisted Recuperating Bicycle) is a revolutionary new solar powered vehicle that offers flexible mobility support for everybody. Aimed at promoting the benefits of cycling in an increasingly health- and environment-conscious society, the bike offers users the ability to make a green turn while improving their fitness as well. The bike features a cool solar panel that charges its 8 supercaps (EDLC) which in turn help the bike accelerate from still stand. Though the bike focuses primarily on private, individual users, it also shows great potential when it comes to use in more industrial environments.
