Smart to unveil Brabus edition Fortwo EV, e-bike at Geneva Motor Show

Automakers around the world are trying their best to make their mark in the field of green cars. Although response to green cars has not been good, yet the competition has been intense. Every year new models with new features are brought for sale. Following the trend, Smart minicar division of Dailmer, a German automaker has announced to unveil both Smart electric bike and battery electric version of the Smart Brabus special edition line at Geneva Motor Show this year.

Brabus-edition Fortwo EV, e-bike

The electric vehicle is named Fortwo and will be availed in 12 countries by the end of year. The interior of the model will be electric green and will also include 17 inch alloy wheels. Range in single charge is not specified yet, but the vehicle will deliver 80 horsepower in extremely small runabout. Moving to the electric bike, it will also be available by the end of year at smart outlets. It will be powered by an electric motor, which will provide 500W of power. This much power would be enough to get a top speed of 25 miles per hour. So far the price has not been disclosed for both Fortwo electric drive and the ebike.
