D Art Smart Mobility Style - Next-generation Mobility EV

Normally, we see two wheelers but this one is a three wheeler. According to Yasuhiro Yamashita, CEO of D Art Co. Ltd, since the concept vehicle is an extension of bicycles fine adjustments have to be made by the team members. Although there were technical challenges but still their emphasis has been on the functional beauty. About 80 percent of battery gets charged in 90 minutes providing a top speed of 65 km/h and cruising range up to 40 km. In order to make high speed travel safe tilt mechanism has been designed for it.

The price has been set at 500,000 yen and if it is possible to get a government subsidy D Art would offer it for 300,000 yen. As planned by D Art it would be primarily sold in Japan but the possibility to sell overseas specially in Europe is also been considered. Style will be released in 2012 but before that company needs to solve some minor details concerning electrical power.
