With the world burning in the soaring oil prices, individual states, countries and communities are coming up with alternative solutions to it as the demand for it is also increasing – by it in the form of solar power, wind power of other bio-fuels. And the crisis, perhaps, is the ripe time for big and small companies to invest heavily in producing alternative energy.
The American company PowerLight Corporation has also ventured into similar power production. It has revealed that it is working on the world’s largest solar photovoltaic power plant! It is to be built in southern Alentejo. The works on it is said to be commencing during the course of the month.
