Are you ready to switch on to water-powered calculators? I am not joking. It’s a fact. The research has been completed and water-run calculators will soon be ruling the roost here. But, how? It is certainly amazing that the calculators and other electric devices that you have been so far keeping away from water will actually run on it.
Human curiosity has led to the finding in which your very own calculator that solves your digging mathematical problems will run on nothing else but water. All you need is to store the water in the battery for 3 months, just like you do with your invertors, but here you don’t need to charge it with electricity. The cathode and anode rods will do the rest.
However, thinking on this puzzles me to a great extent. How far will it be able to run in desert areas or where water is inadequate? Even if this find works, what will we do when we run short of water, which is certainly a scarce resource?
Still, it is one of the many attempts to stop the rising global warming and the pollution emerging out of use of energy. The hard cells used in our quartz, calculator, laptops, etc though gives us a hassle-free life indirectly adding to the already emitted heat of our body, directly or indirectly, and thereby contributing to global warming. The water rechargeable calculator, when will replace at least the millions of calculators used in America and Europe, is a sure step, though small toward our increasing passion to go green.
