Ground-up tyres to build urban ‘Shock-Absorbing’ sidewalks

dc last longethan concrete

You will very soon find the sidewalks in Washington and dozens of other communities made of rubber. Should we call them as going eco-friendly, as are made of ground-up tires!

Though the rubber squares are three times more expensive then the concrete slabs, they last longer, contributing the same in the state’s development expenditure. The tree roots and freezing weather will not even crack them, as the surfaces are shock-absorbing.

Thus, it can reduce the number of accidents and lawsuits and complaints filed over uneven pavement.
