The beta version of Microsoft Hohm has been released in the United States, and according to Microsoft, the software lets users better understand their energy usage and recommends them to save energy and money at the same time. The company claims that technology will have to come up to the point where it can get the world rid of the energy crisis, and efforts have already started showing their worth.
Apart from informing the users about their current energy statistics, the tool does well in giving certain recommendations that range from caulking windows to removing air leaks and even installing a programmable thermostat.
