A lot of injuries on the ski slopes are contributed to high speed and low visibility. When on the mountains the climate can change at the blink on an eye, so you can never be sure that if you’ve started on a sunny morning, the slopes would be bright as well.
Foggy weather and high speed winds can be hard for even experts to navigate through and without a flashlight things can turn grim pretty quickly. Industrial designer Christian Moser has thought of a solution for this problem, which he calls the PolarLight.
The PolarLight is a flashlight that is designed to harness the energy of motion for a recharge. The light can be worn on an arm and can be powered on easily when visibility is low.
