Eco Factor: Solar energy harvesting lamps for “greener” lawns.
Of all the uses for solar-powered lamps, their use in gardens and lawns seem the most interesting, and you don’t have to keep them in sunshine regularly for recharging. Industrial designer Se Xin is adding another dimension in outdoor solar lamps by allowing them to house seeds of seasonal veggies.
The solar lamps can easily be installed, just like planting flowers in your garden. The lamps harness solar energy during the day and glow during the night, creating a unique glowing veggie effect. After a period of time, the seeds will begin to burgeon and grow with new leaves. The red radish lamp outlook and the real green radish leaves make a “real” ripe radish in front of the people.
