Eco Factor: Solar powered LED flashlight.

Industrial designer Daniel Bailey has come up with an flashlight concept he calls the Maglite. Inspired by a hand grenade, this multifunctional flashlight has been designed for extreme conditions. The palm-held flashlight measures just 5 inches in length and a mere 2.5 inches in width. The small size and the big usability make it an ideal device for cops, mariners and even some camping lovers, just like me.

The light which can be worn on your belt comes with a trigger, which when pulled turns on the light beam. The solar panels used in the design, suck up the sun in the mornings to give you a cool glowing grenade looks in the evenings. The flashlight comes with side buttons that allow the user to change the color of the light that beams out from it.

The Dark Side:

The design is still in the concept stage, but we have to say that even when developed, we don’t see a good enough fan following of something as weird as this. We don’t see many who would be interested in hanging a 5-inch grenade-shaped glowing buckle to their belts.
