Eco Factor: Water-saving shower head reduces waste.

Teenagers are known for wasting a lot of time getting ready each day, and the major part of that time goes under the shower. An Australian named Trevor Murphy didn’t wait for long after he saw his water bills pointing to the sky, and developed an ingenious shower head he calls the Aqualim.

The shower head doesn’t use any electricity and can be retrofitted in any shower head. The Aqualim forces teenagers to cut down their shower time by reducing the flow of water after a particular volume has been used. Even after the flow reduction, if your child doesn’t come out of the shower cabin, the device completely shuts off water flow. Once shut off the shower head can be reset one more time.

The Dark Side:

The device forces teenagers to cut lengthy showers short, and once the flow has been stopped the device can easily be reset to restore the flow. This might not have any effect on a girl too conscious about her beauty. A better way would have been to stop the flow completely without any reset for a particular time. After all we learn from our mistakes, don’t we?
