Eco Factor: Concept bike designed for Beijing.
Ryan McGinley has come up with a nice idea to make the streets of Beijing clean and green. Like always the industrial designer has found his sustainable transportation dreams realized in an innovative bike that allows the rider to store his belongings under the seat.
Most businesspersons of today have to carry different electronic items along with them, which becomes a problem if you’re riding a normal bicycle. However, Ryan’s bike is different – it lets the rider store his belongings that include laptops and other portable gadgets to be placed in a storage compartment built under the seat.
This allows the bike to open so that the businessperson can store their briefcase/shoulder bag internally – putting an end to the bad balance and discomfort caused from riding with a one shoulder bag. The user interface has also been designed with detail for social networking with other bike owners, internet connection, email, GPS, and light controls.
