Eco Factor: Recycled plastic bottles converted into light sculptures.
Renowned designers Lisa Foo and Mah Su Sim collaborated in an effort to bring about a change in the habits of people by crafting fashionable light sculptures from discarded plastic bottles. The end results are as good as the efforts are. Out of the billions of plastic water bottles that are discarded every year in landfills by people all over the globe, these designers have managed to give another life to some of them, encouraging people to recycled their waste in an efficient manner.
Being landscape designers, they draw inspiration from natural forms and shapes, which is clearly visible in their sculptures. Celebrating natural designs, these sculptures glow in different colors to make others think about the beauty trash carries if given a proper form and shape.
