Eco Factor: Solar powered public structures that are built from eco-friendly material and are easy to construct and relocate.

Michael Jantzen is known for creating green structures that are a wonderful and balanced amalgamation of art and engineering. The master designer is at it once again with his new public structure design that is aimed at using solar energy to power local community needs and also provide a gathering place when required. The unique design is put together using beams of wood, metal or concrete composites and is completely recyclable. The structure has integrated solar panels which power the needs of a community and it offers shade for an informal meeting. The design allows the public space to vary with requirement in size shape and even location.

The Dark Side:

An actual prototype of such a structure would probably drive home the point further and we will soon see something in that regard. Even the uncovered spots on the structure could be probably covered to make sure it works fine on a rainy day.
