Doomsday: A solar-powered nuclear fallout shelter

DoomsdayDon’t worry about the doomsday, Doomsday from Kacey Wong will act as a robotic savior. Scary times we live in, isn’t it? Well, there’s always hope though. The strange technology uncertainty of nuclear fallout that is looming on entire mankind is being manifested in creativity of unique kind. So, here is the Doomsday, which rather promises to be a savior; a personal nuclear fallout shelter designed to protect the inhabitant in case of a nuclear fallout, the worst urgent of emergencies mankind can imagine.

It sounds scary, the design looks weird and we are brought into the thought what would happen if really there is a nuclear disaster. It’s a reality though, considering the Chernobyl and the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster, from which countries are still trying to recover. What can be done to save the world from such a future? We will talk about that later. First, here’s what Kacey Wong designed in order to contain our life in case of such a disaster.

Kacey Wong’s design technology Doomsday is manifested as a grim robot, one with lead paint covering its metallic belongings in order to prevent nuclear radiation to affect the inhabitant of the robot. It’s a standing robot, that can be folded comfortably (or uncomfortably) and is portable like a hand truck, with its own pair of wheels.

The robot container is also equipped with four solar panels, so that you can charge or recharge your electronic gadgets in case of a nuclear disaster. Now back to the original question. What can be done to save ourselves from such a bleak future? Kacey Wong’s design technology is a bleak reminder of what we are driving ourselves into.
