The world’s first diesel-hydraulic series-hybrid delivery truck is launched. It is unveiled by the US EPA and its industry partners. This hydraulic hybrid reduces in the emission of carbon dioxide by 40%, compared to the diesel-powered counterpart. It also improves fuel economy of up to 60-70%.
To maximize fuel efficiency, the hydraulic hybrid vehicle offers features that can be compared to an electric hybrid.
