Bouncing breast energy – Are we so deprived of other eco sources?

This is going a bit too far! Trying to tap energy from everything that is in motion is a great sustainable concept. So be it machines and other stuff that are perpetually in motion or footsteps of those who are always on run. Practical and interesting is also the idea of dance powered energy! But boob-powered is just getting a bit ludicrous. And the brain behind this is Adrienne So from San Francisco. She believes that women with big cup size can help generate energy from the bouncing movements of her breast. Does she think that all big-breasted women are always on a run or they don’t wear well fitted bras that restraint the bouncing to some extent.

According to Professor Wang of Georgia Tech, th design would probably be made of elastic material to allow for more motion than traditional sports bras. Also it will need to be layered so that a special nanowire fabric can be integrated. Which in turn will have wires 1/1,000th the width of a human hair that will help generate electricity from the bouncing motion. A square meter of fiber produces about 80 milliwatts of power, which is enough to run a small device like a cell phone.

As it is believed that the fabric is cheap to produce and equivalently efficient, Wang’s team hopes to use it to create energy-generating T-shirts and other articles of clothing
