A break for tenants on energy bills: Housing association homes to get wind power

wind power plan for glasgow homesThis venture really seems to relieve people on their energy bills. Glasgow’s high-rise homes are set to be installed with wind turbines. As part of a pilot project, it is designed to save on housing association tenants’ pockets.

This initiative would surely be a ground-breaking one, as North Glasgow Housing Association is expecting to install the system on homes. To tackle fuel poverty, this installation also includes tower blocks, and its own offices.

To move the pilot project, a £22,000 funding is already in place and the first turbine is expected to get installed within months. This would surely have a positive impact on tenants’ lives.
