This week, Massachusetts got its second wind projects off its coast. The new project will be located in the state waters of Buzzards Bay. Patriot Renewables LLC, a renewable energy subsidiary of Jay Cashman Inc., is considering the 300-MW proposal. All in state waters, the project will split into three different sections, the Standard-Times, the Massachusetts newspaper reported this.
Jay Cashman Inc. is the parent company of Patriot Renewables. Jay Cashman, president of Jay Cashman Inc. expects the politicians to see at the project in a fair view and said that “it’ll be interesting to see how they react,” – as told to The Standard-Times, responding to the question, “if he fears similar opposition from the Governor and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass.”
