This side cabinet is not shaped like a barrel, but is cut out of recycled wine barrel, which otherwise would have headed for the ever-soaring landfill. Thus, it is not only a better use of a post-consumer product, but also contributes towards the environment.
Handmade in Georgia, this unique cabinet made from a full wine barrel, features an inner storage shelf, a removable maple serving tray and casters. The white oak wine barrels, which after use are normally discarded, can be made to last a lifetime as this cabinet.
It is priced at $850.
