Ayurveda is a 5,000-year old tradition born and brought up in India and includes the art of healing diseases with nothing more than herbs of medicinal value. The same technique is now being incorporated in the world’s first organic clothing line being developed by Threads of Life, the first Ayurvedic apparel company in the U.S. The clothing line was successfully launched at the Sunya Currie Collection in California.
These clothes are infused with over 25 medicinal plants and herbs to help address both serious and every day ailments. The garments are 100% organic and are hand woven. The clothes make use of the trans-dermal process of fiber to skin contact to heal diseases. The plants and herbs are diffused into the pores of the skin to ensure faster healing and better health.
The company has launched six formulas into their unique clothing lineup for now, these formulas include:
1) Tulana: Light. A formula for freedom from excess weight and appetite control.
2) Vicra: Vital Force. A formula for energy and well being.
3) Avega: Strong. A formula for strengthening the body’s immune system.
4) Sapna: Dreams. A formula for regulating sleep patterns and relaxation.
5) Anamya: Flex. A formula for pain relief in the muscles and joints.
6) Sumana: Renewal. A formula for dermal health and skin renewal.
