Eco Factor: World’s fastest electric bike.
Bikes are usually criticized for being too slow to be used for a daily trip to the office. German bicycle manufacturer PG Bikes is trying to change conventional thinking with an all new electric bicycle, the Blacktrail. The Blacktrail is being touted to be the fastest bike in the world with a top speed of 100kph.
Costing a whopping €59,500 (approximately $76,967.85), the Blacktrail weighs just 19.8kg and uses advanced materials such as carbon, magnesium, titanium and carbon fiber wheels. The bicycle is powered by a CM 48V lithium-ion battery pack that can be recharged in 150 minutes, after which the bike can run for 200km. Only 667 units of the Blacktrail will be produced and each of them will have an individual number.
