Eco Factor: Low-emission hybrid boat powered by solar, diesel and electric power.
Greenline Hybrid 33 is a production built, single cabin boat that is being claimed to be the first truly hybrid boat that is powered by an electric/diesel engine. The electric engine sources power from an onboard array of solar panels. The Greenline Hybrid, which will be distributed by North South Yachting, is due to arrive in Sydney at the end of this week, ahead of its launch at the forthcoming Sydney International Boat Show.
The sea trail has proved that the boat has a solid sea keeping motion and is extremely quite on boat electric and diesel engines. Internal space is excellent and the boat features a luxurious finish. The first Greenline Hybrid 33 will be available to “drive away” in Australia for $333,333, including a number of upgrades.
