Eco Factor: Wind heater harnesses wind energy for cooking and heating purposes.
The Wind Heater by Korean designer Jihae Kim presents a sustainable technological heating solution during harsh winters. The aim of the concept is to utilize wind power instead of conventional wood burning method in order to keep people warm in the cold months. This would also help offset the negative impact of desertification on our fragile eco system.
The heating system is equipped with blades, shaft and a generator to harness wind energy that powers the integrated cooking system besides providing necessary heat during the night to keep the residents warm.
