Bio-diesel industry will soon take over the responsibility of heating our homes – i.e. heating homes with bio-diesel! The use of bio-diesel will also move into domestic heating from producing greener fuel for transport.
It is as little as two years; East Anglia’s fledgling biodiesel industry will see this venturing into the new arena of ‘green’ service.
Swapping bio-diesel with kerosene — which is the chief fuel used in the domestic oil heating market – besides cutting carbon dioxide emissions, could also help secure supply in the light of troubles in the Middle East and elsewhere, also making UK less reliant on imported fuels.
