Here is a good news for health conscious drivers. The new Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel that eliminates 97 percent of fuel’s sulfur content benefiting health is presently readily available at about 85 percent of highway diesel filling stations.
But, since the EPA doesn’t require off-road vehicles’ fuel to be ULSD until 2010, with locomotives and marine equipment getting a free ride until 2012, the cleansing process will be slow.
If not the policies, the hopes are on the drivers. Hope, they will start to fill up their vehicle with the new fuel for both their and environment’s health.
