A new technology by CSR was recently presented at a medical conference in Luxembourg. This new technology is CSR’s Ultra Low Power Bluetooth silicon. According to the company, their ULP Bluetooth silicon consumes 10 percent less power than standard Bluetooth silicon does. The demonstration revealed that the ULP Bluetooth silicon can transfer data 50 times faster than regular Bluetooth connections can. That is really amazing as this is a fitting reply to all those who immediately question the efficiency of green gadgets compared to the normal ones.
For all those who doubt green technologies can now know that the all new ULP Bluetooth is not just greener but also 50 times better than theirs. This technology is previously known as Wibree. This means devices will be connected at much shorter spans of time than those who use regular Bluetooth technology, and hence, energy is saved. The technology allows your Bluetooth device to run for good 10 years on a single battery and not just a few months or a year like the normal gadgets. Now that is a hard combination to beat.
