A green wide stretched nursery is a dream of an environmentalist and a conservationist. But, here one can get to find more fort he ecology than dreamt or expected. Pinellas County’s first and only all Florida native plant nursery will be opened this Monday.
Named Twigs & Leaves, the nursery will carry over 100 species of native plants from central and southern Florida. This will improve natural lush and provide beautiful landscapes. And this in turn, will not only reduce consumption of energy and water, but also will strengthen the ground against storms and hurricanes.
The garden center will offer regular classes on landscaping and plant care. Along with it, the center will also carry a line of organic fertilizers, pesticides and beneficial insects. Once opened and maintained successfully, it would be one-of-a-kind plant nursery in St. Petersburg.
