The distilled French and Italian wine will be fueling the vehicles in Europe! Yes, the vineyards this summer, has a surplus production. And, inspite of wasting them, the European Commission has decided to make the best possible use of it, where the world is burning in the soaring oil prices – i.e. to turn them into bio-fuel.
According to the Commission, up to 510 million liters of this year’s surplus wine will be transformed into bio-ethanol. And this bio-ethanol can only be used as bio-fuel or industrial alcohol.
