A new inverter from SMA America promises to give grid quality high wattage energy using solar, wind and hydro energy. The new Sunny Island 5048U inverter capable of producing 5000 Watts of energy, is a significant leap in technology over the earlier Sunny Island 4248U inverter that was capable of producing 4,200 Watts of energy.
The advanced Sunny Island has made running of high-energy consuming appliances without electric energy easier. It will be possible to run water pumps, refrigerators and computers using this inverter. The use of renewable energy sources especially solar energy to recharge its batteries is taking us nearer to the use of clean renewable energy sources that is the only means of curtailing the pace of global warming.
