It may seem overtly ostentatious to some people, but one can’t deny the “in your face” boldness of this unabashedly snazzy yet “green” conception. This specially attired Smart ForTwo car was conceived by experimental artist formation Apparatjik to be used in their new film, Pixel City.
Dubbed as the Smart Disco Ball, this small car incorporates an all electric drive with a flashy flair. The entire vehicle starting from the roof to the hub caps is covered in reflective glass tiles. Even the windows are draped in a mirror finish foil to add to the overall garish yet retro bearing.
Currently on display at the Neue Nationalgalerie Museum in Berlin, Germany, this car was conceptualized in the first place as a flamboyant publicity gimmick for an upcoming film and two live performances by eminent artists. The performances are billed to take place at the museum itself.
