Eco Factor: Low-emission concept yacht powered by a hybrid engine.
The Sly Yacht is the brainchild of designers at Yachting Ideas and has been designed as a low-emission cruiser that offers both comfort and performance. The hull features sharp lines that recall the modern ocean racer and optimizes boat performances in upwind and downwind conditions.
The deck layout has been aimed to light up the living areas underneath and also create a visual continuity giving between both interior and exterior parts. The hull and deck structures are made of PVC sandwich together with layers with basalt and carbon fiber. The designers have proposed a hybrid propulsion system that is based on the use of a 30KW electric motor fed by a battery bank that is recharged by a small diesel generator.
