Sheldon turns Prius into the most environment-friendly car

Simon Sheldon, managing director of Amberjac Projects can turn your Prius into one of the most environmentally friendly cars ever for a cost of about ?150,000.

He achieves this by replacing the original nickel metal hydrid batteries with lithium iron phosphate developing cleverer battery management system so that it now travels 30 miles in electric mode and allows it to return up to 130mpg compared with 50mpg in petrol mode. These new batteries provide seven times energy more than the original and the car gets twenty seven times energy. Plus the batteries are safe from explosion.

Refueling is simple: plug it into the socket overnight and you will be ready for a long drive into the woods with only 60kg/km C02 output or wait for Amberjac to switch the fuel to bio-ethanol.

Cameron and Leo will be delighted.
