Rimac officially opens reservations for its new electric supercar

Rimac Concept One was being talked about for quite some time now and was finally put on display at the 2012 Top Marques Monaco, which is one of the best opportunities for any car company to unveil its new and innovative technologies. The Rimac, a completely electric, 1,088hp, Croatian supercar is now available for reservation for the deliveries to be made in 2013.

The output, which Rimac is promising is completely incredible for an electric sports car; as such performance specs have never been heard till date. Its assertions are difficult to believe as the Rimac can speed from 0 to 60 in a matter of mere 2.8 seconds. Add to that the fact that it can roll out 1,088hp of power and 2,80o lb/ft of torque and it is a lot more than what you would expect in an electric car.

Additionally, The Concept One is the result of the hard work put in by some of the most famous designers across the world. The body of this graceful car is made from carbon fiber, that helps the car to maintain low weight. The interior of the car also give it a strong identity as it is done by famous leather specialists, who have designed a driver focused interior. The design lays emphasis on the driver’s comfort, with a system that offers both entertainment and information. the idea is to offer a safe and yet a pleasing drive.

The Rimac Concept One will have a limited manufacture for the year 2013, as there will be only 88 pieces built and the price for this supercar will be specified at a later date.
