Rainpod: A beautiful way to use every drop of rain to water your garden!

This is not something that is an amazingly new or earth-shattering about the design and the functioning of this simple green gadget, but it is the simplicity of it that is most beautiful. Rain water is considered as one of the purest source of water and that is exactly the reason why many agree that it is a lot better than just tap water to your garden. I do not know if that is all that true as it might be more the pleasant weather and the cool climate that comes with a shower that bring that glow to the garden, rather than just rain water. But even if it is just the water, I would not be too surprised.

Now there is a wonderful new way to make sure that you get the maximum from each shower and save and distribute this water in later times. The Rainpod, by designer David L’Hote of France, allows you to collect the rain water with its unique design and features. Working like a rain barrel, the conceptual Rainpod collects water in a large tank and, standing taller than a man, has the height and reach to cover a large area around it, sprinkling the area using nothing but gravity.

It is probably only useful when you have plenty of rain and that is surely a bit of a downer as we cannot do much when it does not rain. If you live in a place where it rains once every week, then I suppose this is ideal. It is also useful just for collecting rain water for drinking purpose in places where there is lack of water resources.
